Thanks to Bob Hayton over at Fundamentally Reformed we now have a button you can post on your own websites and blogs to advertise the Crossway Book-a-Month Giveaway for 2010.
Here’s how it looks!
Here’s the HTML for you to use to put it on your site:
<a href=”https://allenmickle.wordpress.com/2009/12/16/2010-book-give-a-way/” target=”_blank” title=”The 2010 Crossway Book Giveaway, click to enter”><img src=”https://allenmickle.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/2010giveaway_1.jpg?w=300&h=72″ width=”180″></a>
If you use this button on your website and leave a comment that you have done so on this post here you will receive another chance to win each month!
Hmmmm…. button did not work for me…. still trying!
Just a note on this. I had to replace the formatted ” marks used in the post here, with regular ” marks. The slanted “s were making it not work on my blog (I have a wordpress.org self-hosted blog). This might help anyone else trying to use this.
I reformatted this for my Blogger site. Here’s what I used:
You may need to adjust the width depending on where you post this. I posted it in the sidebar of my blog site.
Try this, everybody:
You can adjust the width if needed too, I believe.
The problem we are having is getting the html to display on wordpress here as it tries to use the code rather than simply display it.
Well, I forgot that the html code will not show in the comments box. I’ve added a hard return after the opening for each section. (1) copy this code, (2) delete the hard returns (3) it should work.
