I was told by some that I needed to up-date my blog since it has been over a month since I posted anything. I usually do not post personal issues but since this is the reason for my failure to keep my blog up-to-date I thought I had some explaining to do. This is especially for you Crawford!
I have been spending a lot of time with a wonderful, godly, young woman named Tracy who I met while representing TBS down at her church in Pennsylvania. With a little persuasion and match-making by her former pastor, Fred Zaspel, we have been spending time getting to know each other over the last few months. Finally, we have gotten the official okay from her parents to make our relationship more permanent. So, as of this past Sunday Tracy and I are now officially dating, or courting, or whatever you want to call it! This is the main reason why I have failed to keep my blog up-to-date!
She is a Suzuki trained piano teacher and very active in her Church. She has a wonderful family whom I am enjoying getting to know better. The picture above was actually taken at her younger sister’s wedding this past weekend. Tracy was maid of honour at the ceremony. From the picture you can tell I’m getting the better part of the deal (i.e. she’s a lovely young woman and I’m a big lug!).
Anyway, as time goes on we will continue to get to know each other and enjoy our relationship together and our relationship with the Lord. Please pray for the two of us! If I have delays on blogging here in the future you all know why!
Congratulations to you!
Thanks Steve! I’m very happy!
Good for you!
Thanks Crawford! You’ve been quite an encouragement during this time period and I appreciate it and your prayers!
Way to go, Allen. Crawford also lucked out and I did as well. In fact, most of the time our wives are considerably better looking, smarter, kinder, etc.
You’re right Mark. She is considerably better than I am in a number of areas! She does know her theology though! She’s a Bible grad from Baptist Bible College. It’s nice to have someone to talk to about complex theological issues!
And I forgot to thank you for the MLJ book/journal. What a blessing and a great read.
Thanks again.
